Participants who wish to participate in the Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary Video Campaign (the Campaign) conducted by Sanrio Co., Ltd. (Sanrio) should read the following participation method and conditions, prohibited matters, and important notes carefully and agree to them before participating in the Campaign. By participating in the Campaign, Participants are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions, please cancel your participation.

Create videos using Sanrio's video processing effects for TikTok (effects specified by Sanrio) in reference to videos distributed on Sanrio's "hellokitty" (https://www.tiktok.com/@hellokitty) and "ハローキティ50周年【公式】" (https://www.tiktok.com/@hellokitty_50th) and post them with the hashtags "#helloyou" and "#hellokitty50th".

In addition, when using videos posted on Sanrio's "This is Hello Kitty. (https://www.tiktok.com/@this_is_hellokitty_)" account for the purpose of introducing Hello Kitty in connection with this campaign, please use the videos as they are, apart from changing playback time (looping, shortening, etc.) For example, if you use a video clip (including characters), it is prohibited to edit or modify the color, pose, composition, shape, aspect ratio, etc. of the material in the video (including characters).
- All rights to the above-mentioned effects, the above-mentioned video materials, and other Sanrio (including Sanrio Group) characters and other copyrighted works, including Hello Kitty, to which they own rights, as well as their names and logos, etc. (including the rights stipulated in Articles 27 and 28 of the Copyright Act) belong to Sanrio. Participants shall not exercise their moral rights or performers' rights with respect to the portions belonging to Sanrio, nor shall they allow anyone related to them to exercise their moral rights or performers' rights with respect to the portions belonging to Sanrio.
- Refrain from filming in places where photography is prohibited or in dangerous places.
- Participating with photographs is allowed.
- Be careful not to include character products from other companies other than Sanrio in posted videos.
- If someone appears in a posted video with the Participant, please be sure to obtain permission from that person to post and film the video before posting.
- In addition to the above cases, if a posted video (including song data) contains intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, or other rights of a third party other than the Participant, be sure to contact the rights holder and obtain permission before posting.
- If you are a minor, please obtain the consent of a legal representative such as a parent or guardian before participating.
- Participants must confirm that they have the legal right to post videos (including song data) and that posted videos (including song data) are free from any third-party liability. Participants express and guarantee to Sanrio that their rights are not infringed, and any disputes that arise with third parties will be resolved at their own responsibility and expense.
- Sanrio cannot respond to any inquiries regarding submitted videos.
- Be careful not to identify the personal information of participants, performers, etc. in posted videos.
- The governing law regarding the Campaign shall be Japanese law, and in the event that a dispute arises between Sanrio and a Participant regarding the Campaign, the exclusive jurisdictional court of first instance shall be the Tokyo District Court.

- Prohibited Matters

When participating in the Campaign, the following acts are prohibited:
- Acts that violate the participation rules
- Acts that interfere with the operation of the Campaign
- Acts that cause trouble, disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to others
- Acts that slander or damage the honor or credibility of others
- Acts that infringe on the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others
- Acts that infringe on the property, privacy, or portrait rights of others
- Acts of posting data that promotes obscenity, child pornography, or sexual exploitation of children
- Providing information, advertising for commercial purposes (companies that do business with Sanrio should follow Sanrio's instructions regarding advertising) or solicitation.
- Acts that damage the honor, trust, reputation, image, etc. of Sanrio, Hello Kitty, or other characters for which Sanrio has copyrights and other rights
- Acts that violate public order and morals
- Acts that Sanrio deems to be inconsistent with the purpose of the Campaign
- Acts that Sanrio deems to be malicious or inappropriate
- Other acts similar to the preceding items

Although the Campaign is being conducted with the utmost care, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, safety, usefulness, etc. of the information, programs, various services, and other matters related to this campaign. We do not provide any guarantees. Additionally, Sanrio will not be responsible for any trouble or damage (direct or indirect) caused to participants or third parties, including in the following cases.
- If an emergency such as a software or hardware accident, fire, power outage, deterioration of the communication environment, earthquake, or other incident occurs when participating in the Campaign.
- When performing regular or emergency system maintenance for the Campaign.
- In the event of trouble between participants or between participants and a third party.
- In the event that the service is interrupted, delayed, or any defect occurs due to interference with the Campaign service or information modification by a third party.
- If complete information is unable to obtained because the Campaign was participated in from an environment other than that recommended by Sanrio.
- If the information provided by the Campaign is sent incorrectly or is defective without intentional or gross negligence.
- Sanrio may change or cancel all or part of the Campaign without prior notice to participants. Furthermore, if we deem it necessary, we may change these Terms without prior notice, and we may take the necessary measures to ensure the proper operations of the Campaign. Please note that Sanrio will not be responsible for any trouble or damage (direct or indirect) caused to participants or third parties resulting from this.
- Participants will be responsible for internet connection fees and communication costs associated with participating in this campaign.

- Personal Information

- Sanrio and Sanrio's designated business partners will not collect personal information from the submitted content, nor will it be disclosed or provided to any third party, except for subcontractors, without the participant's consent.
